How quickly will my order be shipped?

• We aim to dispatch your order within 48 working hours of purchase
• Buying a ring? We may need an additional 24-48 hours to resize it for you. Rings in US size 7 are available for immediate dispatch

How long will delivery take?

• Free shipping to most locations globally usually takes between 4-7 working days from order (see table below)
  
• Need it sooner? FedEx Express shipping (estimated 2-3 days) is available for urgent orders at checkout

One Flat Rate Of 15%. No Surprises.

These days, it seems like tariffs are changing every week, which can turn international shopping from an exciting experience into a nightmare. At Tanzanite Direct, we want you to enjoy our beautiful gemstones and jewelry without wondering if you're about to get hit with a huge import tax bill—so we're taking care of the unexpected for you.

No matter where you are in the world, we apply a flat 15% fee at checkout. That's it. 

Any other unexpected taxes go on our tab. That's right: if the customs authorities in your country charge you anything on top of that 15%, we will cover the difference.

One small exception:

In some countries and parts of the US, you may be charged a small handling or transaction fee. Unfortunately, we are unable to administer these from our end at this time. Your delivery service will inform you of any such charges, which usually will not exceed USD 50.

TANZANITE WEIGHT & MEASUREMENT

• Measurements show the tanzanite’s minimum diameter and depth, measured in millimeters. The measurements are noted as length x width x depth
• The “face-up” length and width measurements are the best way to judge a colored stone's actual size—as opposed to carat weight, which can change depending on the variations in each stone's proportions

• Tanzanite Directs‘s gemologists hand-select only premium cut stones, which are symmetrical, smoothly polished, and even in color and light reflection

COLOR

Tanzanite Direct separates our tanzanite into five color groups:

Tanzanite Color Groups:

1. Pastel
   • Sky blue or pastel color intensity. Very pretty, and commonly
     available.
2. Medium
   • Medium color with good saturation. A clear and pretty stone, considered desirable.
3. Strong
   • Excellent color quality and depth with strong saturation. May
     appear less powerful under bright lighting conditions. Usually
     considered top range in a jewelry shop.
4. Deep
   • Strongly saturated with exceptionally fine color intensity.
     Represents the top 5% of all stones mined and is considered an
     excellent example of tanzanite
5. Intense
   • Top 1% of colors mined, showcasing the rarest and most
     outstanding color intensity. GIA Color Grade 6/6

CLARITY

• “Clarity” refers to the number of inclusions: any natural cracks, features or flaws within a tanzanite gemstone
• Tanzanite Direct only sells flawless loose tanzanite gemstones, with no inclusions and the highest GIA Clarity grade of “Eye Clean”
